No. We're all talking about alot of things here. The song itself aside, a discussion came up about Cliche's.

I'm just confused to where you stand is all.

You implied cliche's were bad.

You then said they were ok if it's worded in a new and interesting way.

You implied that you like a challenge in the lyrics to make you think.

You implied that if a song has to be spelt out for you than it's not a good song and it should hit you right away.

Just a little confused on what your final opinion is of a good lyric. Every Rose has been brought up by both of us as an example because it was the main song in question but as far as you not liking it..

I going to be the dick here but I really think in general a new song needs to be brought up because what we have is a situation where both of you hit a dead end on this one as far as swaying the other, etc. etc. It's not gonna happen!
