I was thinking today about Animals by Pink Floyd, and do recall John Peel our radio guru playing an advance copy!
I don't think it was long after the 1976 Christmas... that I got the bus into town with Xmas money from my Gran, (mid-january?) skipped into Bradleys Store and bought Leave Home by The Ramones and this:
Still have the Ramones disc (I had to buy another Animals, as a girls father I'd loaned it to-got housepaint on it)
[Thought as posts are tricky at the mo~I'd put a bit of meat on the bone, so to speak]
