Finally getting around to my lists. The big problem I have are albums from the 60’s. I inherited some from my mother and I have collected a few over time. I will list what I have.

1960
Etta James ~ At Last
Joan Baez ~ Joan Baez
Johnny Cash ~ Ride This Train
B. B. King ~ King of the Blues
John Lee Hooker ~ House of the Blues

1962
Howlin’ Wolf ~ Howlin’ Wolf
Booker T & The MG’s ~ Green Onions
Beach Boys ~ Surfin’ Safari

(That’s it for ‘62)

I know Bob Dylan’s debut came out in ‘62 and Roy Orbison’s second album, “Crying” came out…but for some odd reason, I’m just not interested in collecting them.

Yes. This is the point of the exercise. It must be in your collection. Not a battle of all albums released in that year. Albums you love and collect but just happen to begin with the year you were born.
One of the previous posts does not mention any Beatles or Led Zeppelin on their list. I find it hard to imagine someone not having a Beatles or Zeppelin or Stones album in your collection but such unicorns surely exist.

@BeatleMatt

I have Beatles and Stones albums, but you will never see them on any of my top 5 album lists, except maybe Stones’ Some Girls album, we’ll see when I get to 1978 :p
