Here are two that should have been on my original list!

Berry Oakley / The Dickey Betts's Band and The Allman Brothers
April 4, 1948 – November 11, 1972

Allen Woody / The Allman Brothers and Gov`t Mule
October 3, 1955 – August 26, 2000

No particular order...

David Ellefson (Megadeth)

Geddy Lee (Rush)

Billy Gould (Faith No More)
While not technically the best out there, Billy is a big part of FNM's sound, which I have always liked. Great musicianship from the whole crew.
