Been a long while since I have listened to this one. My auditory ossicles are becoming very aroused…

This came out on my birthday of 2002. Opeth are why I was able to get into Prog a lot more because they have hooks which blended in nicely with the complex Prog structures. It allowed me to expand my taste to the more niche Prog bands of the 70s.

For me, it's just really difficult to top their earlier albums like Toys in the Attic and Rocks. It might've not made them prettier or healthier later in life, but the drugs helped them make some good damn music. Just sayin' lol
