Bob Dylan and touring band, Avignon, France July 25, 1981; the bible thumping
period and some of his best live performances ever... this one is considered
tops as boots go. Maggies Farm comes on like a biblical dust storm.

This is good but the boot of the late show is better, he strapped
on his Gibson Les Paul and gutsied up with a thicker, nastier tone
for a better, looser and solid set, and one that, like many shows
of the 70's , was picked over for the inferior set for official
release... oh fookin' well. Anyway seek Mid Valley if interested.

I still like the official deluxe tho, many of his Strat 'Blackie' solos
from most of the early show are liquid lighting and sublime.
