This may be the track that established Stevie Winwood as a legend on the organ:

Here are some pretty rare songs from Jim Capaldi's solo career before he passed away.

An Everly Brothers cover of "Love Hurts"

My friend's going to Steve Winwood & Eric Clapton in Antwerp the end of May.. I'm soooo jealous!

Exactly the same thing happened to me. They're coming to Belgrade in Serbia and I won't go because of exams on university. Damn!

Here's an excellent clip of a young Stevie Winwood with the Spencer davis group in 1966:

Billy Joel knows.
Re: Traffic/Steve Winwood

Traffic, another band of obvious mysteries with their jazz influences and Winwood's abilities. I love them. I really admire (Sometimes) I Feel So Uninspired. The lead git done by Capaldi. That track is one that builds to a wonderful orgasm of power. Winwoods mounting vocals and that simple yet gripping riff along for the experience of true Rock and Roll. There isn't enough time to listen to ALL OF IT! AGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRRRRRRRRRRRR

I now have tickets to see Steve Winwood opening for Santana at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto on Sunday, 11 July 2010:
