Most I don't know but recognise some of the names and actually have heard less.

Wolf, it would of been great if you listed in order. With that being said, I know it's not easy as I have done lists as well.. How about you're top 10? I then could check into these bands and give 'em a listen.

That is gonna be REALLY hard but I will try to give you a top twenty in a few days with a short description of the overall sound for each album.

Well guys, as I already said it, it was a tough year . I promise to cool off next year because I really need more peace .

You guys have posted insanely long lists......nice work!

As you well know, I am just beginning to dabble in the metal realm, I would thoroughly enjoy a "beginners" list. Lets say the top 5 from each genre to check out. Dont worry about trying to match my tastes, I am more interested in what has impressed you guys. Although, I guess I should throw out there that I wont listen to much music that has harsh and extreme growling vocals.
