Looks like we could start the party of the century with all these tunes. Gonna take off for a bit and will be checking back in later to see what's been added!!

Surprised to see Carol King in there...right on...I just bought Tapestry recently! Great album!

That's an album I need to get! I have her live Carnegie Hall Concert album, which is really good stuff :grinthumb

:bow::bow::bow::bow:

Wow that was long and kind of exhausting. But it satisfies my need and enjoyment for making lists.... (for now :oyea:) It's not easy taking collection of 12,000+ songs and putting them into a top 500. It's no surprise a lot of my favorite bands have many top slots; they are my favorite artists for a reason!! Thanks for taking a look!

PS: MP, when you gonna tackle your own list? I know I would love to see it! But you have so many more songs to choose from, it would be like 4 times more difficult!

Awesome Job, Kuaizi! I commend you on your varied listening tastes. I would also place a Queen song in my top 5 all time favorite songs, but it wouldn't be Bohemian Rhapsody......my fave would be "Mother Love" :)

Again, great job. I have tried to do this before and got frustrated before I could even get half way through a list. Have you placed this list on Rate Your Music...........you should ya know :tup:

Awesome job with this:grinthumb

Thanks!
It's number one because its the song I've listened to the most, have the most memories about with other people, the song I have the most fun singing in the car, and it's so epic! :grinthumb That's why it's probably pretty rare that we all would have the same number one favorite song. I feel like these are all criteria I used for making the list. It had to be personal (with a system) or it would have been impossible! (believe me Magic, this is like the 20th time I have tried to make this list, but I finally came through!)
Another example of this is John Lennon's "Out the Blue." Seems an odd song to be at the top of the list, but to me it's really important and means so much because it's my wedding song. :cheers2
