There was a TV documentary about Nicky Moore (Samson, Mammoth, Manny Charlton) a few years ago. My memory is vague, so I cannot remember the basis of the programme. I remember expecting him to be a bit wild and he was quietly spoken. John McCoy sounded a little bitter in interviews, around the Mammoth time, that Ian Gillan split the Gillan band. McCoy and Torme had not finished with the band, but it was pulled from under their feet. I wonder what happened because I do not think they ever worked together again.
The only good thing about Tygers of Pan Tang was John Sykes. Blue Murder were excellent and I wish they had kept going.
Weren't Krokus an AC/DC copy? (I could be wrong). Mandy Meyer joined Asia for Astra, which struck me as a bit strange.
I remember the name Helix and that they are Canadian, but cannot recall anything about the music.
