My lad asked me today "what was the most thrilling concert I've been to?"
The answer was easy(think myself and E-Z have discussed this)
The Who at Charlton Athletic soccer ground in '74.
One of my first gigs that I really understood what was happening (even though I was hanging onto my bruv's grandad vest!) Bad Company and Montrose supported and Moon's hugest kit was in full use!
We slept on a cold floor in a flat in Putney and I had my first ever croissant the next morning!
This wasn't played.... but after 'Going Mobile' it's a fave.
