It’s nice you both enjoy the same music. My hubby bought me a really nice headphone set called “skull candy” which has equalizer adjustments and a booster. I like some fairly heavy music and he doesn’t. :heheh:
Well, my husband does listen to this annoying NFL game music, over and over, and that's when he uses ear buds. He goes in the bedroom and lies down with it playing so loud (through the earbuds) I have to ask him to turn it down! :uh: I have told him he is going to lose his hearing if he keeps that up. He didn’t turn it down until his ears started to ring! :&That's the only "music" we don't share. He loves it, and I don't understand the appeal. I guess it's a guy thing.
The headphones you have sound really nice! I didn't know they made headphones with equalizers, and boosters. Hmm, I'll have to look into those, but not for my husband. He doesn't need a booster. :heheh:

Despite being married about 40 years, spouse is musically illiterate.
but put her around a garden, and she is the best there is.

I love my gardens……and I blast Judas Priest or Iron Maiden while tending my garden. If I have some serious weeding to do, I blast something with power, like Demons & Wizards.

The plants love it! I am constantly being told my gardens are beautiful.

Delilah, I get where you are coming from. The last guy I dated and I don't even know why I even call it dated because it didn't last very long he was into country music. Now when I say country music it wasn't even 'Old School' Country Music like The Flying Burrito Brothers or stuff like that. It was this new Country shit like Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Luke Bryan, Lainey Wilson, and Gabby Barrett. I am sorry if I have offended anyone who enjoys any of these artists music. It was just horrible riding in his car listening to this shit. I couldn't take it and I totally understand why you couldn't.

Back in the late 60's, all we had in Texas and Louisiana was AM Country and Western. I mean the twangy Buck Owens and Conway Twitty kinda stuff.

But at 11 PM every night, most of us rockers tuned into Beaker Street -KAAY in Little Rock, which was a powerful AM station that reached most of the country. The DJ, Clyde Clifford played all kind of what we called underground rock at the time. No else at the time would you hear Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Yes, among many others

@Delilah songs like "Seven Bridges Road", "Copperhead Road" , and even "Jolene", I can get with those types of songs. You you are correct New Country is crap and Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift and the others do not top my list for sure.
