A bit strange topic. :think: These artists are so radically different that I don’t really understand by what criteria they can be compared at all.
Ok, well, I have a lot of respect for Fats Domino, but I'll vote for AC/DC here.

Hmmm....went with Fats .........though I like Cheap Tricks version the best. ;)
One of AC/DC worst lps.

Ok, well, I have a lot of respect for Fats Domino, but I'll vote for AC/DC here.

I guess you're right, but... for me, personally - it's the same, as if we'll decide to compare Motorhead and Air Supply... My look has been very subjective, 'cause I think, that Fats Domino (with all his undoubtedly services to rock and roll) sounded too smooth, with no sharpness, which was inherent to Little Richard, Chuck Berry or early Elvis. All in all - it's just my opinion. :grinthumb

About "Ain't that a Shame" - authorship is authorship, for sure, but I prefer John Lennon's and Cheap Trick's covers.
