A killer album : from the binning from the church bells from Hells Hells with the reclamation of that Rock isn't mois pollution it's one of the best rock albums I've evr heard. The twin guitar attack from the Young brothers is amazing and the album has no filler in my ears, although not everything is as good as Hells Bells for example, but overall : a real classic !

I gravitate towards Bons work when I want some AC/DC but this is easily my favorite Brian album. If I were forced to pick one post-Bon song it would easily be Shoot To Thrill. It may well be my all time favorite.

Back in 2018, AC/DC did a special reissue of the album on cassette. I picked it up and wrote an article about it for my Cassette Chronicles series. Anyone interested in checking out what I had to say can check out the article HERE!

A band that sorely needs a 'best of' cd or a compilation covering the whole career which has all the best tracks.

Great Album and Great Review. "Shook Me All Night Long" and "Thunderstruck" are probably my favorite AC/DC songs. As for Brian Johnson sounding familiar to Bon Scott, I also don't hear it. Brian Johnson has more of a rough sound to his voice than Bon Scott did in my opinion.
